East End Grille is Now Open

The new East Somerville restaurant has been getting good online reviews from customers.

So, I completely missed this, but the long-awaited East End Grille in East Somerville is now open.

The restaurant opened quietly on May 29 and currently serves dinner. In the upcoming week it will begin serving lunch and Sunday brunch, according to a quick phone call to the restaurant.

The restaurant, at 118 Broadway, is in the former location of Khoury's, a bar known for being a little rough around the edges.

Yelp users have been giving East End Grille some good reviews.

One reviewer ordered sweet potato chips, mussels in a saffron broth, homemade fettuccine with peas and a lemon bar dessert.

Others talked about a good beer and drinks list and reasonable prices.

Check out the reviews here.

The restaurant is still working on its website, but you can check it out on Facebook.

You can also call at (617) 628-6000.

Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly bartenders and tasty cocktails. Will definitely return.
