Another Food Truck Festival Planned for Somerville
And another reason to dream of spring.
Given the frigid January weather, this is a bit of a tease:
The Somerville Food Truck Festival is scheduled to take place in Somerville's Assembly Row on June 7.
Again, it's a cruel, cruel, tease.
The event will kick off the Food Truck Festivals of New England 2014 season, according to an email from Assembly Row.
It says recent food truck festivals at Assembly Row, including the Holiday Arts & Eats Festival and Riverfest, have been successful, and the new Assembly Square neighborhood wants more.
"The festival will feature 20 of New England’s most popular food trucks serving up a variety of fan favorites, including local seafood, BBQ, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, cupcakes, whoopee pies, and more!" the email says.
There will also be beer and wine and children's activities.
