As The Boston Celtics entered 1968-1969 NBA season, in what would be the final season of Bill Russell’s hall-of-fame playing career, nobody expected the Celtics to do much, let alone win another flag. However, they did win another flag--defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in a seven-game series.
This season reminds me of what the great philosopher Yogi Berra once said: "It's like deja-vu all over again."
Once again, nobody predicted that the Celtics would do much this season. However, with Garnett, Pierce and Rondo all having sensational seasons, along with the upstarts Avery Bradley & Greg Stiemsma, and the best bench in the league, I am predicting One More Flag!
