THIS WEEKEND IN SOMERVILLE: 'Radical Hanukkah Party,' Concerts, Markets

Some things to do in Somerville this weekend.

First Night! Workmen’s Circle Radical Hanukkah Party
From the listing: "First Night! will feature rollicking dance music by the Michael Winograd Klezmer Ensemble and Somerville's HONK veterans, the Dirty Water Brass Band, as well as an original Hanukkah ritual by Workmen's Circle members." It's at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Johnny D's.

Winter Farmers Market
The Somerville Winter Farmers Market began Dec. 1. It's Saturdays through April 13 at The Center for Arts at the Armory from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Davis Flea Holiday Vintage Market
This holiday market features vintage collectables, clothing, furniture, jewelry and bric-a-brac. It's Saturday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at UNIUN Warehouse, 3 Sanbourn Ct., in Union Square.

Somerville Community Chorus Holiday Concert
The Somerville Community Chorus holds its annual holiday concert Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Church Somerville.

The Slutcracker
Tickets are selling out for some performances of this burlesque version of Tchaikovsky's holiday classic. If you want to see it this weekend, you'll have to go on Sunday. Performances are at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Somerville Theatre.

3rd Annual SLAM Holiday Artist Market
This artists market will feature jewelry, pottery, glass, metal, textiles, photographs, sculpture and more. It's Saturday at 12 p.m. at The Burren.

"Of Trolls and Men"
Folk songs, dances, sonatas and suites from 18th century Norway. It's Sunday at 3 p.m. at Somerville Museum.

An Evening with Chris Smither
Smither plays folk and blues with a "voice equal parts gravel and molasses," according to the event's description. It's Sunday at The Center for Arts at the Armory from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Described as "high-powered, soul-infused vocal rock" that will get audience members on their feet. It's at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at The Center for Arts at the Armory.
