An international group showing featuring photography of graffiti knitting extravaganzas. Graffiti knitting (also known as yarnstorming, urban knitting, yarn bombing, etc.,), reclaims public spaces in dire need of warmth, color, and texture. Door knobs, bike racks, statues, and all sorts of stationary objects know no peace when the click-clack of knitting needles is near.
The exhibit is held in conjunction with, Wrap Around, an annual sale of handmade knitted and crocheted goods to benefit the Somerville Homeless Coalition. A Cupcake Reception will be held on November 12th.
