After School Video Class for Youth at SCATV

Somerville Community Access TV in Union Square offers a video production course for youth ages 11-14 that meets after school on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30PM STARTING OCTOBER 3 and runs until December 12. Participants will be guided through the process of making their own creative videos by TV professionals. Students will get to try all of the various production jobs including directing, camera operation, sound, editing and acting. Making video is a fun, collaborative activity with many creative challenges!

Cost is $125 for 10 two-hour sessions with need-based scholarships available. Enrollment is limited due to space.
