Firefighters Put Out House Fire Near Magoun Square
A Tuesday fire in Magoun Square displaced 12 residents. It was still under investigation as of Wednesday.

Somerville Woman Drowns in East Boston
A 53-year-old Somerville woman, who was living on a boat for the summer with her husband, fell into Boston Harbor in East Boston Tuesday morning and drowned. Her husband unsuccessfully tried to revive her, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.

Gov. Patrick Celebrates Somerville's New Riverfront Park

Gov. Deval Patrick was in Somerville Wednesday to open the new Baxter State Park, along the Mystic River near Assembly Row.
