Group Builds Bookshelves at East Somerville Community School
Staff members from Cultural Care Au Pair visited the new East Somerville Community School Tuesday to help students and teachers move into the new building.
It was part of a service day sponsored by the Cultural Care Kids First Foundation, the au pair organization's official nonprofit.
As part of a one-day whirlwind tour, Cultural Care staffers from around the world helped out at 12 schools and youth nonprofits in the Boston area. You can see where they visited here.
The East Somerville Community School suffered from a devastating fire in December of 2007. It took six years to rebuild, and the school re-opened this September.
Above, you can check out some photos of Tuesday's bookshelf-building effort.
