Five Things: World's Oldest Brewery Comes to Somerville, Somerville Little League Registration

1) Weihenstephan Brewery Tap Takeover
Weihenstephan Brewery, founded in the year 1040 and considered the oldest continuously operated brewery in the world, is taking over the tap at Olde Magoun's Saloon. A number of the brewery's beers will be on tap throughout February, and the fun kicks off tonight. There will be tastings of some of the brewery's craft beers today and Friday, Feb. 8. Tonight's tasting is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

2) Somerville Little League Regisration Open
You can now register for Somerville Little League, and you can also sign up for winter baseball clinits. More information here: www.somervillelittleleague.org.

3) Free Museums This Weekend
As part of its "Museums on Us" program, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch have arranged free access to some Boston museums this weekend for its cardholders. Among other places, cardholders can get into the MFA and MIT Museum for free on Saturday and Sunday.

4) DIY 101: Alterations & Mending Workshop
From the listing: "Learn how to make easy repairs to your clothing by hand to save you money and extend the life of your clothes!" It's at 2 p.m. at Boston Vintage Factory.
