Five Things: Whiskey, Pork, Ward 6 Meeting, Post-Election Roundtable

Also, a Green Line Extension design meeting.

1) I’m Thankful for Whiskey (and Pork)!
Head to Saloon in Davis Square for a four-course prix fixe menu. Each "pork-centric" dish will be accompanied by a whiskey cocktail, and all the whiskey comes from New England distilleries. Read the menu here.

2) Ward 6 ResiStat meeting
Residents of Ward 6, which includes Davis Square, part of Ball Square and part of the Porter Square area, can attend the Ward 6 ResiStat community meeting tonight at 7 p.m. The meeting is at the Somerville Community Baptist Church, 31 College Ave.

3) What Now? A post-election roundtable
So, the election happened. Join political scientists Andrea Campbell and Devin Caughey, from MIT, and Deborah Schildkraut, from Tufts University, for a roundtable about the significance of the election and what comes next. It's sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Arlington, and it's at 869 Mass Ave. in Arlington.

4) Green Line Extension design working group
Meet the new preliminary engineering and final design team, and get an update about the project's FTA New Starts application and the schedule moving forward. The meeting is at 51 Winthrop St., Medford.

5) Weather
Today should be sunny with a high around 47.
