2) Somerville resident has cool 1968 Pontiac GTA
Gene Deangelis of Somerville attended the Herb Chambers "Cars & Coffee" event on July 14 with his red 1968 Pontiac GTA, according to an announcement sent on behalf of Herb Chambers. The meet-up attracted car enthusiasts from around New England, the announcement says.

The Young Somerville Advisory Group, representing residents between the ages of 21 and 35, meets today at 167 Holland St. at 6:30 p.m.

Get together with fellow knitters at the , 155 Powderhouse Blvd., at 5:30 p.m.

5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox play the White Sox today at 7:10 p.m. Today will be sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Temperatures will be in the lower 90s.
