Five Things: Somerville Democratic Caucus Postponed, Community Cooks Benefit

Update, Feb. 11, 11:40 a.m.: The Community Cooks event listed below has been postponed until Feb. 19.

The Somerville by Design event listed below is now taking place at City Hall.

1) Somerville Democratic City Committee Caucus 
The Somerville Democrats were planning to hold a caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s 2013 platform convention on July 13 in Lowell. The meeting has been postponed to a yet-to-be-determined date. It was originally scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at the Somerville High School cafeteria.

2) Somerville by Design: The Complete Streets Series
According to a description of the event, "Livable transportation expert Ian Lockwood ... will discuss how complete streets work and why they are a vital to Somerville’s future as a great place to live, work, play and raise a family." It's at 6 p.m. at the Argenziano School.

3) Somerville High School Scholarship Foundation Annual Meeting
The Somerville High School Scholarship Foundation holds its annual meeting at Somerville High School at 7 p.m.

4) Celebrate the Year of the Snake with Community Cooks
Eat some food to benefit Community Cooks and other non-profits in Somerville, including CASPAR, Somerville Homeless Coalition, Walnut Street, and RESPOND. It starts at 5:30 p.m. at Thalia Tringo Real Estate.

5) Weather
