Five Things: 'Rootbound' Morris Dancing

1) Morris Dancing in Somerville
Morris dancing comes to Somerville with Rootbound, featuring Maple Morris, a troupe from North America, and Morris Offspring, from the United Kingdom. The listing says it's "a blend of vigorous dancing, musical exploration, vibrant costumes, and creative storytelling." The performance is at 7:30 p.m. at The Center for Arts at the Armory.

Learn to Fence Camp: Ages 7 to 12

3) Girls Basketball Camp at St. Clement
Varsity basketball coach and Division I college player Alyssa Jann will teach the fundamentals of passing, shooting, dribbling and teamwork, according to the listing. There's a group for kids in grades four through six and another group for students going into grades 7 through 10.

4) Vacation Bible School
This week-long program is for kids between 3 years old and those entering fifth grade. It's taking place at the Somerville Community Baptist Church on College Avenue.
