Five Things: Radio Showdown with Everett, Cosmo Seeks 'Sexiest' Men

1) Curtatone battles mayor of Everett
Curtatone's three-week reign as champion of the WFNX "" song competition is challenged again this morning when he faces Carlo DeMaria of Everett. Each mayor will pick a song, and listeners will vote for their favorite. To participate, tune into WFNX (101.7 FM) at 9 a.m. to hear the songs, then vote by calling (781) 595-WFNX (9369), commenting on facebook.com/1017wfnx or texting the word WFNX, plus your choice, to 22122.

3) Nominate Pride Parade marshall
Organizers of the Boston Pride Parade are soliciting nominations for parade marshals. Members of the public can nominate someone for grand marshal and honorary marshal, which is awarded posthumously. To learn more, visit bostonpride.org/parade.

4) Cosmo Magazine seeks nominations for "sexiest single men"
In more nomination news, Cosmo Magazine is "on the hunt for 2012's hottest single men from across the country," according to an announcement from the magazine. Perhaps someone from Somerville can win the Massachusetts nomination. Your humble editor, who would clearly be a shoo-in, is happily married and therefore can't be nominated.
