3) Small Jazz Concert III
This listing says, "Scott Aruda and Paul Ahlstrand’s small jazz ensembles will be performing works by Freddie Hubbard, Wayne Shorter, Jimmy Giuffre, Harold Land, Horace Silver, and others." It's at 8 p.m. at the Granoff Music Center at Tufts University.

4) Taste of the Nation Boston
Taste of the Nation rasies money for organizations that fight hunger, such as The Greater Boston Food Bank, Project Bread and Cooking Matter. You can sample food from 55 of the area's best chefs and restaurants, and the honorary chefs this year are Gordon Hamersley of Hamersley’s Bistro, Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, Jody Adams of Rialto, Tony Maws of Craigie on Main, and Joanne Chang of Flour Bakery and Myers + Chang.
