1) Learn about Somerville Public Schools
Parents and guardians can learn about the Somerville public school system today at a meeting held at the Argenziano School from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. You'll learn about curriculums, daily life at school, and you'll get to meet other prospective public school families. The meeting is focused on kindergarten.

2) Dosa Temple gets name change
Dosa Temple, a popular restaurant on Somerville Avenue, is changing its name to Dosa and Curry, according to Boston Eater. The food blog said it's a name change only, and the food will stay the same.

3) Climate Heroes: Can Biodiversity Save the Day?
This talk asks, "Could the climate heroes we've been waiting for be ... bacteria, beetles, fish, and grazing animals?" Scientist Jim Laurie will present a movie, and there will be a discussion afterward. It's at 7 p.m. at The Center for Arts at the Armory.
