Five Things: Illuminations Tour Tickets On Sale Today

1) Illuminations Tour tickets on sale
Tickets for this year's Illuminations Tour, a Dec. 15 trolley-trip around Somerville to see the city's impressive Christmas lights, go on sale today. You can buy tickets at somervilleartscouncil.org. They usually sell out within a week, according to the Arts Council.

2) Somerville resident helps at coat drive
Somerville's Christine Johnson, who's an assistant vice president at Citizens Bank, recently helped kids at Dorchester's Russell School try on new winter coats, part of the Citizens Foundation and City Mission Society's annual "Coat Boston" initiative, according to an email sent on behalf the program. Over four years the initiative has provided more than 7,000 new coats to children, the announcement says.

3) Multi-industry job fair
The job fair will feature 25 to 30 employers, job counselors, a "vet rep" booth for veterans, and a chance to win prizes. It's from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. Dress professionally and bring resumes.

4) Artisan's Asylum classes
Classes are under way at the Artisan's Asylum, including sculptural metalworking for young people and mold-making and casting.

5) Weather
Today will be cloudy with a chance of rain and snow and highs around 40.
