1) Friends of the Community Path
The Friends of the Community Path hold their monthly meeting tonight. It's at 7 p.m. at the Visiting Nurse Association on Lowell Street.

2) Breast Health Awareness 
Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge is hosting a breast health awareness event tonight at 6:30 p.m. A panel of doctors will talk about new screening and treatment methods for breast cancer.

3) Somerville resident volunteers at social services organization
Pat Morgan, a Somerville resident and a retiree from State Street Corporation, volunteered at Interfaith Social Services in Quincy on Sept. 26, according to an announcement from State Street. She volunteered as part of the Spirit of State Street Alumni Volunteer Program, the announcement says.

4) Next week: Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress in town
Amber Benson, who played Tara Maclay on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," will be at Somerville Theatre next week for a screening of "Dust Up." If you're a fan, put it on your calendar.

5) Weather and Red Sox
