RCN, the cable company, is running something called "Customer Appreciation Days" until mid August, according to an announcement from RCN. As part this event, RCN customers with OnDemand can get a free movie coupon by contacting a customer service representative at rcn.com/customer-center. Who knows, you could also walk away with a time share in Florida.

2) Idea from Cambridge that might interest Somerville
Cambridge police have started a program where Cambridge youth take photos to "document the causes and effects of unsafe environments in the city through a method called Photovoice," according to Cambridge police. For instance, young people have recently taken photos of trash in the city and determined there aren't enough trash cans around. You can see some of the photos here.
