Five Things: Free Lecture—'Parenting in the Middle School Years'

Also, a small-group personal training center moves to Somerville, pasta with Italian music, and the New England International Auto Show begins today.

1) Free Lecture: Parenting in the Middle School Years
Dr. Richard Lerner, director of the Tufts University Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development, will give this free talk tonight from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at the Healey School.

2) Dubrow Performance Center moves to Somerville 
Dubrow Performance Center, which does personal training, recently moved from East Cambridge to Somerville, according to an owner from Callie Drubrow, the owner. The new address is 50 Tufts St., and you can learn more about the training center here.

3) Pasta and Puccini with a dash of Verdi and other Italian music
A pasta, meatballs and salad lunch from Vinny's accompanied by Italian music. It starts at 12 p.m. at the Council on Aging.

4) New England International Auto Show
Check out over 500 cars at the auto show, which begins today at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in South Boston and runs through Jan. 21.
