Five Things: Chocolate-Themed Webinar, Cub Scout Fundraiser

1) Cub Scout fundraiser
Eat pizza and raise money for local Cub Scouts at Flatbread Company at Sacco's Bowl Haven tonight. Proceeds from pizzas sold this evening will help the Scouts pay for camping trips and other events. The Scouts will be selling some popcorn treats, too.

2) Webinar: "Chocolate & Sustainability" with Taza Chocolate
Alex Whitmore, founder of the popular Somerville-based chocolate company, Taza Chocolate, is participating in a webinar today about the global chocolate business. it starts at 1 p.m., and there's more information here.

3) Somerville Adult Education
It's not too late to sign up for classes such as furniture making, cake decorating and other things. Learn more here.

4) Somerville residents running half marathon
The Boston Athletic Association's Half Marathon takes place Oct. 7 to raise money the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and, according to an announcement from Dana-Farber, seven Somerville residents are running: Julie Beck, Jamie Bergstein, Kristen Brandt, Julia Colpitts, Kathryn Gabriele, Danielson Gomes, Candace Hodge, Kelvin Ma, Chris Mattoon, Amanda Nicholson, Carolyne Riehle, Katerina Velichansky, Judith Vick, and Jennifer Wilson.

5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox play the Rays tonight at 7:10 p.m. Today will be sunny with a high around 74.
