Five Things: Candlelight Vigil for Domestic Violence Awareness, Somerville Shaman

1) Candlelight vigil for domestic violence awareness
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and tonight there's a candlelight vigil to draw attention to the issue. It starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Building (police station) in Union Square. More here.

2) Video class for youth at SCATV

4) Bananarama in Boston
Bananarama, the British pop duo behind Venus and Cruel Summer is celebrating its 30th anniversary and playing in Boston today to support breast cancer research. Bananarama will be playing at the Hard Rock Cafe, 22 Clinton St., at 8 p.m. as part of Hard Rock's "PINKTOBER" program.

5) Weather and Red Sox
Today is the last day of the season for the Red Sox. They play the Yankees at 7:05 p.m. There's a chance of rain today, with highs in the mid 70s.
