Five Things: Boston Babydolls and Jazz

Plus, tonight's HONK lineup and some wine and beer tasting.

1) Boston Babydolls' present The Wrathskellar
Just in time for the Halloween season, the Boston Babydolls present their "dark burlesque," which is a blend of cabaret and haunted house, according to the event listing. It opens tonight at the Davis Square Theatre at 7:30 p.m.

2) Parallel Realities
Pianist Nando Michelin and saxophonists Jerry Bergonzi and George Garzone put on a jazz performance with South American rhythmic influences. It starts at 8 p.m. at the Granoff Music Center at Tufts University.

3) HONK! Festival
You may already know about this weekend's HONK! Festival in Somerville and Cambridge. Today at the festival there's a lantern making workshop at Hodgkins-Curtin Park (from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.), followed by a parade of lanterns through Davis Square (from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.). There's a HONK kick-off at Johnny D's. (from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.). More here.

4) Wine and beer tasting
As always, check out some beer and wine tasting at Ball Square Fine Wines & Liquors. It begins at around 4:30 p.m.
