A Pokémon Champ, and a Christmas Eve Farmers Market

1) 10-year-old earns Pokémon medal
According to an email from organizers, Adon Goodpaster, 10, placed second in the Play Pokémon Trading Card Game City Championship Tournament, which was held at in Davis Square on Dec. 17. In doing so, he won a medal and points that could potentially bring him to the Pokémon U.S. National Championships in Indianapolis over the summer, according to the email.

2) Harvard Vanguard named a "top place to work"
was ranked as the 15th best place to work in Massachusetts—among the state's large employers—by the Boston Globe, according to an announcement from Harvard Vanguard. The medical group has an office in Davis Square.
