9 Tufts Students Arrested at D.C. Protest

The students were arrested along with 389 other protesters.

Nine Tufts University students were arrested Sunday at a protest of the Keystone XL pipeline in Washington D.C., according to the Tufts Daily.

The students were arrested along with 389 other protesters, the university’s student newspaper reports.

Despite the arrests, none of the students were charged. In all, roughly 1,200 people, including 20 Tufts students, attended the protest, which started in front of Georgetown University and continued to the White House.
