Beyond your computer screen, Boston-area Etsy artists bring their wide range of products to Somerville for the summer-long ASSEMBLED: The Handmade Arts Market at Assembly Row. From whimsical three legged pig good luck charms, to practical laundry detergent alternative soap nuts, to elegant handmade crystal jewelry – there is something for everyone at ASSEMBLED.
Following the 4th of July holiday, ASSEMBLED will reopen to end the summer with a bang! On display will be some of New England’s best and most unique crafters which change each week depending on market themes. From the initial launch date of May 18th, the number of vendors has tripled! In addition to great shopping there will be live musical performances and food and refreshments sold by popular New England area Food Trucks: Bon Me, Frozen Hoagies, Compliments, and Grilled Cheese Nation – to name a few!

ASSEMBLED promises to complement an already booming arts scene that has helped transform the city of Somerville into an “arts mecca”. Somerville ranks second in the United States behind New York City in the number of per capita resident artists*. With local artists making the city of Somerville one of the most vibrant and exciting arts centers in the country, ASSEMBLED: The Handmade Arts Market at Assembly Row, joins the ranks in showcasing the city as one of New England’s leading arts destinations.
The market will take place weekly on Saturdays on 300 Grand Union Boulevard along the Mystic River now through September 21st with the exclusion of holiday weekends, running from 11:00am – 4:00pm.
