Somerville News Watch Party!

Somerville Community Access TV station launched its first TV News Show, called Somerville Neighborhood News (SNN) in October of 2013. Some recent topics have covered the rise of heroin use in Somerville, Union Square developments, immigrant rights, Somerville High School sports coverage and much more. Past SNN episodes can be watched here.

There is a lot of time and energy going into the production of these shows. With that said, it is also apparent to us that in order to better distribute our news program, collaborating with other local establishments to air our latest episode of SNN will foster a stronger community voice.

Come visit Union Square Tuesday, January 28th at 6pm to watch the most recent episode of SNN. This month we join forces with local restaurant Cantina La Mexicana Lovers to screen this episode.

The first show will air at 7pm. Please RSVP to the event here!

In SNN episode #7 there are updates on the Green Line Extension, interviews from local restaurants & businesses reacting to increases in tax rates, reports from SHS on new arrivals of immigrant youth and more!

**This event aims to build community with our local neighbors through collaborations. The last Tuesday of every month, the SNN watch party will be hosted at a different local Somerville bar. Visit facebook to stay updated.**
