Scenes from Holiday Arts & Eats at Assembly Row

The first-ever Holiday Arts & Eats festival at Somerville’s Assembly Row was this past weekend, Dec. 6-8. The event drew in approximately 6,000 attendees over the course of its 3 days and featured over a dozen Food Trucks (including Somerville’s own, Kickass Cupcakes, PennyPackers, and The Bacon Truck), 50 local handmade and Etsy artisans, children’s activities, live performances, and more. The Somerville High School Band, Waldo (a musical group from Tufts University), and Somerville’s newest a cappella group, the Eight Tracks, were among the performers. The Pasta Pot won the most festive food truck. The festival began in the evening on Friday, December 6th with a 21+ “Holiday Arts & Eats After Dark” and ran through Sunday afternoon.
