Local companies Cambridge BioMarketing and Commonwealth Restaurant have joined together to create a unique, weeklong way to observe Rare Disease Day on February 28. With Uncommon Good: A Benefit for Rare Disease Day, Commonwealth will donate 5% of its profits to the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) for all items ordered on a special “Uncommon Dinner Menu” for the week of February 24 through 28.

Cambridge BioMarketing will match the amount raised during the week. The purpose of the event is to focus attention on the needs of patients and families affected by rare diseases.

"We invite everyone from the community to order from the Uncommon Dinner Menu at Commonwealth the week of February 24 through 28, enjoy the great food and atmosphere, and feel really good about what they're doing," said Maureen Franco, Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge BioMarketing.
