Is Fido Afraid of Fireworks?

While the 4th of July is a time for celebration, parades, fireworks and cookouts for humans, it can be very stressful for our canine counterparts. Many dogs are afraid of loud noises, especially fireworks and sirens. If you have to bring fido with you and they are easily stressed out in these situations, try a natural calming product like @Ease by Petzlife, which can be used in conjunction with a swaddling technique like a thundershirt or a tight fitting t-shirt. This will help your dog to remain in a more relaxed state, and be less stressed about the noises around them.

In addition, it's important to have water available for your dog, which will also help mitigate the stress and of course to keep them hydrated. The Kurgo Collapsabowl is easy to stow away and great for on-the-go dogs, as well as the Gulpie, which has the added convenience of carrying water in the bottle.

RiverDog carries @Ease, the Collapsabowl, and the Gulpie waterbottle.
