Hailo, The World’s Highest-Rated Taxi App, Expanding to Cambridge

Brookline and Somerville Hailo availability expected soon as demand soars in Greater Boston

BOSTON, MASS. (September 12, 2013) – Hailo, the world’s highest-rated app-based taxi service, announced today that it has expanded its network of licensed taxi drivers to include Cambridge. Hailo, which exclusively works with licensed taxi drivers, launched in Boston about a year ago. The expansion into Cambridge means that more taxis than ever will be available to passengers to help get them where they’re going, when they want to go there.

Nearly one-third of drivers in Boston are registered with Hailo and thousands of passengers are signing up for the service each month. Hailo recently launched in New York City and Washington D.C.

Brookline and Somerville are the next communities where Hailo will be expanding soon. In celebration of the launch, Hailo will be offering $15 off rides for all new customers with the code “Cambridge.” The code can be used today through Thursday, September 19.
