Grammy-Award Winning Gospel Artist Dr. Bobby Jones to Host Whittier Street Health Center 11th Annual International Gospel Benefit Concert at the Berklee Performance Center

Grammy Award winning gospel music legend Dr. Bobby Jones will host Whittier Street Health Center’s 11th Annual “Saving the Health of the Community International Benefit Gospel Concert” on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Berklee Performance Center of the Berklee College of Music, 136 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA.  

 

The concert, attracts more than 500 gospel music lovers and fans and is one of Whittier's largest annual benefits. It will  feature 11 notable gospel performers and choirs from around New England to include: Grant AME; Devoted; Voices of Imani (Boston College); David Altenor; Cantico Nuevo-Waltham Christian Worship Center; Elder Hu; Refined 313; Darlene and Daphne Charles (Lyrical Dance Group); So Amazing (Children’s Choir); The Bullock Brothers; and The Sons of the Bullock Brothers.

Every year during the Concert, Whittier honors community leaders who have made outstanding contributions to their communities. This year’s honorees are Latoyia Edwards, New England Cable News Anchor, and Reverend Ellis I. Washington, Grant A.M.E. Church.

Ticket price for the event is $20.00 for General seating; $30 for Premium seating; and $75 for VIP Admission, which will includes entrance to the VIP reception and premium seating at the concert.
