Longtime Somerville Firefighter Dies, Cavalia Extends Run in Somerville

1) Bryan J. McGahan Dies
Bryan McGahan, who served as a Somerville firefighter for 35 years, died on Aug. 18, according to an obituary on Arlington Patch. McGahan, who was also a Vietnam combat veteran, lived in Arlington.

2) Cavalia Extends Odysseo's Run
Odysseo, the giant equestrian show performed under the world's largest touring tent, which is set up in Assembly Square, announced Monday it was extending its run in Somerville to Sept. 12 due to strong demand. So, there's still time to catch the show.

3) 21 Facts About Dogs That Will Blow Your Mind
The Charlestown Veterinary Hospital posted this blog with some cool facts and stories about dogs.
