El Sistema Concert, Ward 2 ResiStat Meeting

1) El Sistema Fall Harvest Concert
The Fall Harvest Concert will feature "folk, fiddle and fun music for the whole family." It's at the East Somerville Community School at 5:30 p.m.

2) Ward 2 ResiStat meeting
Residents of Ward 2, which includes part of Union Square and Somerville neighborhoods around Inman Square and Beacon Street, can learn about neighborhood news tonight at the Ward 2 ResiStat meeting. It's at 7 p.m. at the Argenziano School, 290 Somerville Ave.

3) Indian Feast to Celebrate Diwali
Madhu Nene, a native of Maharashtra, India, teaches a class about Indian cooking. You'll learn how to make dishes such as chana masala, jeera-mutter pilaf and sooji halwa. The class, part of the Somerville Arts Council's cooking series, is from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Kitchen, Inc., 201 Somerville Ave.
