El Sistema Concert, Chocolaty Beer in Davis Square

Five things to know and do in Somerville on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

1) Community in Harmony Concert
Originally scheduled for Tuesday night, the El Sistema Somerville concert was postponed until tonight due to Tuesday's snow storm. It's at 7 p.m. at the East Somerville Community School.

2)
Chau Family Flatbread Fundrasier
Too many Somerville residents know what it's like to lose a home to a fire. Somewhere around 150 residents were displaced by a rash of fires, some of them arsons, that ripped through the city over the summer. The Chau family from Lynn also lost their home to a fire, and they're holding a fundraiser tonight at Flatbread Company at Sacco's Bowl Haven. Order some pizza, and proceeds will benefit the family.

Imagine two of your favorite things: beer and Taza Chocolate. Well, Peak Organic Brewing has made an beer called Oak Aged Mocha Stout. You can sample it tonight at Foundry on Elm in Davis Square tonight at beginning at 5 p.m.

4) Donate a Bike
Brooklyn Boulders Somerville is holding a bike donation event for The Lawrence BiciCocina, which is trying to set up a community bike shop in Lawrence. You can drop off old bikes at Brooklyn Boulders until Thursday.
