Brown School Winter Concert, Ugly Holiday Sweater Party

1) Benjamin Brown School Winter Concert
The school's winter concert is at 6:30 p.m., but be advised it's taking place at the West Somerville Neighborhood School, 177 Powderhouse Blvd.

2) Ugly Holiday Sweater Karaoke
Head to The Painted Burro in Davis Square tonight for karaoke and an ugly holiday sweater party. Of course, since all my sweaters are fashionable and cool and exude an intoxicating aura of masculinity, I won't be a contender for the ugly sweater prizes. But I've seen the rest of you walking around out there, and I think some of you could win. The party starts at 9 p.m.

3) Tree Lighting Ceremony
Somerville lit its Christmas tree and menorah last week. Above is a photo of the scene.

4) Hot Sauce Tuesdays at Casey's Bar
Head to Casey's on East Broadway tonight for some blues, R&B and soul.

5) Weather
A chance of snow with a high around 33.
