What Now? A Post-Election Roundtable

869 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA | Get Directions »
$5.00

How do we explain voter choice in the 2012 election? And what does the election mean for the future of the economy and jobs, health care, entitlement reform, tax policy, and immigration? In this post-election roundtable with political scientists Andrea Campbell and Devin Caughey of MIT and Deborah Schildkraut of Tufts University, we will analyze the outcome of the election and discuss the implications for public policy. With the nation's fiscal future hanging in the balance, the 2012 presidential and congressional races offered voters two starkly different visions for the role of government. We will discuss the choices made by different groups of voters, and how those groups are likely to fare going forward.

This program is a presentation of Arlington Community Education and is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Arlington. The evening will be moderated by journalist David Whitford.
