Please join the Mystic River Watershed Association on Wednesday, June 13 for a Citizen Scientist Training Workshop!
This Workshop allows interested volunteers to learn about water quality monitoring methods and concepts. By completing this workshop, you’ll be prepared to join MyRWA’s Baseline Monitoring Program. The Baseline Monitoring Program requires a monthly commitment between 6am and 8am. No experience is necessary - all are welcome!

More About Mystic Learning Center
The Mystic Learning Center strives to " improve the lives of low-income children and families living at the Mystic Public Housing Development."
Offering an after school program as well as basketball and soccer leagues and a Teen Choice Club, the center has activites for all school-age children. Located on the first floor of the Mystic Activity Center, "children participate in reading, math, nature studies, crafts, game groups and computer" activites throughout the year. Offering family trips, picnics and summer camps, the center also holds fundraising events throughout the year.
