Though new to the music scene, the Twangbusters are a quartet of well-known roots musicians recently named as a band to watch in Worcester Magazine's "Notes on the Rise". With a voice that's been described as "Patsy Cline meets Bessie Smith", the band features dynamo Paula Bradley (Girl Howdy, Uncle Earl) on piano, ukulele and vocals, Peter "Dr. Z" Zarkadas (Sarah Levecque) on electric guitar, Brian Rost (Tarbox Ramblers) on upright bass, and Texas dancehall veteran drummer "Wild Bill" Nadeau (Junior Brown, The Derailers).
