Sculptural Metalworking: Youth Edition
This is a class specifically geared as an introduction to the wonderful world of sculptural metalworking and welding. Each class, a new skill and a matching sculpture assignment is dispensed to exercise the use of the tool, and creative thinking in the medium. By the end, students have proficient knowledge in the steel shop and the creative process to execute their own designs! Ideal for homeschoolers between the ages of 12 and 16.

Located at 10 Tyler Street, Artisan's Asylum is a community driven, nonprofit artists workshop. Committed to "removing barriers to making things," the Asylum solicits skilled local artisans to teach classes and open studio hours are common. Courses cover a wide range of subjects from automotive wiring to silk-screening and sewing.
