DESCRIPTION:Media Club for Middle School Students at SCATV\nSomerville Co
 mmunity Access Television is starting a 10-session Next Generation Produ
 cers afterschool media club for Somerville middle school students.&nbsp\
 ; The club will meet on Wednesdays\, beginning on January 11\, from 3:30
  to 5:30 at 90 Union Square. The students will work with two professiona
 l video producers to create TV shows in a three-camera TV studio\, story
 telling\, and stop-motion animation.&nbsp\; The students get hands-on tr
 aining in all aspects of production\, and their finished projects will b
 e shown on SCATV Channel 3\, and posted on-line.\nThe head instructor\, 
 Gordon Nelson\, has been teaching video production to youth since 2003. 
 He has also taught filmmaking to college students at Carnegie-Mellon Uni
 versity\, the University of Pittsburgh\, and Mass College of Art.&nbsp\;
  His films have been screened across the U.S. and internationally.\nThis
  is a wonderful opportunity for creative students\, ages 11 to 14 who wa
 nt to have fun making movies. The Winter session of the afterschool Medi
 a Club runs from January 11 to March 21\, and the cost is $125. Need-bas
