Reflections on Life: a cabaret and open mic
Blue Spruce Theatre invades the Burren again on Sunday, August 19th! We'll be starting the concert around 5:30pm; the open mic will begin around 6:30pm, and will go until they kick us out (around 7:30pm).
Don't forget to bring your sheet music and strut your stuff. The theme of the evening is "Reflections on Life" - feel free to keep that in mind when you make your selections to sing. Mark your calendars and save the date! This will be a lot of fun and we have great performanceslined up.
Performances include the talents of:
Heather Hannon Rufo
If you're thinking of singing for the open mic portion, please feel free to sign up here and tell us what you're singing! (This will help us prevent duplicates so everyone will get to sing what they want!)
Hope you all enjoy the show and have a great time!
Note that the performance is FREE - we will be asking people for a voluntary small donation at the door ($5 would be nice) that will go to Blue Spruce Theatre. Thanks for your support!
More About The Burren
A lively Irish tavern in Davis Square, The Burren has been in business since 1996. Hearty Irish fare, pints of cold beer and traditional Irish music are abundant seven days a week. Open mic nights and concerts take place in the spacious back room that features its own bar and a large dance floor. For those who enjoy browsing the internet while enjoying their Guinness, free Wi-Fi is available. In the summer, several outdoor tables are available for lunch and dinner and the people-watching is abundant. Irish ex-pats and locals alike mingle in the friendly atmosphere of this neighborhood bar.
