TAKE YOUR TANGO TO THE NEXT LEVEL EVERY TUESDAY AT DANCE UNION
(starting September 11, 2012)

Fernanda & Guillermo are most interested in exploring the true essence of tango: THE EMBRACE. Join them as they examine the creation of opposing energies moving together in perfect unison. Understand what happens between two dancers: when we need to provide space in the embrace to facilitate movement as well as when and how we can change the axis to create harmony and dynamics. This is the source of creativity that we can help you to access—the moment when you can connect and use the tango vocabulary to express the dynamics of the music through your dance.

Every month we will do a series of classes that build consecutively on a specific topic. Every tuesday we will offer a 2hr class + 1.5hr guided practica that is designed to be taken together to take your tango to the next level.

7:30 to 8:30: Class, part A: Technique and Exercises- Introduces technique that will transform your dancing

8:30 to 9:30: Class, part B: Tango Vocabulary- Discover where the power to move originates and learn how to control the power and communicate it to your partner with the tango salón vocabulary.

9:30 to 11:00: Guided Practica (supervised by Fernanda and Guillermo)

Level: Intermediate / Advanced no partner required
