Tufts Early Music Ensemble performs Renaissance music from the course of two music patrons from the turn of the 16th century, Marguerite of Austria and Isabella d’Este, with guest artist Rebekah Ahrendt. Works of Josquin, Pierre de la Rue, Marco Cara and many others will be performed. Instruments include viola da gamba, dulcian, harp, cornetto, krummhorn, harpsichord, sackbut, lute, recorder and voices. Directed by Jane Hershey.

The Granoff Music Center at Tufts University is based on Talbot Avenue and is the home to the Tufts Music Department. The location offers various facilities for students as well as the box office, and also holds numerous events and concerts. Some events include concerts, guest performances, children's concerts, workshops and more, including the Tufts Community Music Program for children and adults.

The location offers classrooms, practice rooms and rehearsal spaces, as well as the Distler Performance Hall, a 300-seat recital hall.
