  in zines lately\, and the Boston area has become a hotbed of activity. 
 Join us for &ldquo\;Zines!\,&rdquo\; when the Somerville Salon turns its
  laser beam towards the Somerville zine scene.&nbsp\;\nLong-term persona
 l zine creator Marissa Falco will discuss how her recent zine projects h
 ave been shaped by journalism and design training. Librarian and author 
 Alana Kumbier&nbsp\;talk about how zines can help build communities arou
 nd libraries and archives\, based on her experience with zine-librarians
 hip at Wellesley College and her participation in the Queer Zine Archive
  Project.&nbsp\;\nAs an added bonus\, Papercut Zine Library will have a 
 table\, and&hellip\;we&rsquo\;ll have a zine swap! Bring along a few cop
 ies of your zine!
