For over a decade the Boston Comedy Festival has been the “Comic’s Comedy Festival,” showcasing the most innovative up and coming stand-up comedians in the country, the go-to for the industry looking for their next big comedy star. It is a great opportunity for audiences to get an inside look at the best comics of today in a city legendary for producing comedy genius.
Hosted By Mark Riccadonna: Mark currently performs for Armed Forces Entertainment, and has entertained U.S. and U.N. Troops worldwide, performing in six continents while working with his childhood heroes.
Tony V.: Along with being a popular headliner at clubs and colleges all over the free world, Tony V has worked with Jay Leno, Dennis Miller, Bobcat Goldthwait, Steven Wright, Adam Sandler and countless other friends and nationally known acts. Tony has opened for Kenny Rogers, The Temptations, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Beach Boys and Joan Jett.
Kelly MacFarland: Kelly has appeared on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. Kelly has worked along side Fred Willard as part of the rambunctious news team of “TV Network” on Turner Entertainment’s broadband site, SuperDeluxe.com. Kelly is currently touring clubs and colleges across the country and has just returned from entertaining our US troops overseas. Kelly was first runner up in the 2009 Boston Comedy Festival and voted Best of the Fest 2010 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival.
DJ Hazard: DJ Hazard is a founding member of Boston’s infamous Ding Ho Club! He can be seen in the award winning films Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story (directed by Brant Sersen), Bourbon(directed by Adam Woodworth) and Cold Calls(directed by Jack Daniel Stanley).

A lively Irish tavern in Davis Square, The Burren has been in business since 1996. Hearty Irish fare, pints of cold beer and traditional Irish music are abundant seven days a week. Open mic nights and concerts take place in the spacious back room that features its own bar and a large dance floor. For those who enjoy browsing the internet while enjoying their Guinness, free Wi-Fi is available. In the summer, several outdoor tables are available for lunch and dinner and the people-watching is abundant. Irish ex-pats and locals alike mingle in the friendly atmosphere of this neighborhood bar.
