BIDDER 70:This Is What Hope Looks Like

"Bidder 70" centers on an extraordinary act of civil disobedience demanding government and industry accountability. In 2008, University of Utah economics student Tim DeChristopher committed an act which would redefine patriotism in our time, igniting a spirit of civil disobedience in the name of climate justice.

Film showing will be followed by discussion with local residents who have engaged in acts of civil disobedience for our climate.  Learn how you can participate in the (permitted and legal) Keystone pipeline protest in DC on Feb 17.
