The Dream Team

Our long national nightmare will soon be over.

With the choice of Paul Ryan as his running mate, Mitt Romney has nationalized this election and put a second adult on the GOP ticket. This is in stark contrast with the other ticket.

After four years of stupidity and blaming everyone else for their incompetence, America has had it with these two childish clowns and will vote for grown-ups in The White House.

Come January, Mitt and Paul will be sworn in, and Dumb and Dumber will be sent packing.

Good riddance.

Dream team? ha! so the republicans have put together flip-floping rino with a tea party extremist who dreams of a Ayn Rand style world yet has never worked outside of the bureaucratic mess of local and national politics. I would much prefer that they both hole up in a nice Wisconsin valley estranged from the rest of the world where they can live their elitist ideals while slowly eating themselves to death on cheese and bratwurst. - best luck next time.

Why would you say this? Are you not against TARP, the auto bailout, the stimulus... all those things?

Oh wait, maybe because you do not know Ryan's record:

http://www.rlc.org/2012/08/11/the-paul-ryan-record/

Wait, so if the Tea Party is against this sort of a thing, and Ryan votes for exactly what they hate, why do they and you hate Obama for doing so, but are energized by Ryan having done the very same?

Could it be racism? Coincidence? Something else?

Racism is the last refuge of a scoundrel and you are a scoundrel.

See that squiggly mark at the end of the sentence?

That indicates a question.

A question that needs to be asked of those who were livid at the bailouts, the stimulus, the usurping of the liberties, the debt, etc. that started to be of a concern, but only from Jan 21, 2009.

Yes, there was Karl Denninger who started the Tea Party *movement* before that, but he is not the one who belongs to that group.

I consider your complete absence of a response to the Ryan record, and the obvious avoidance of the double standards, your resort name-calling as, well, the depth of the Tea Party substance. It is really not more than the socially conservative faction of the GOP, with no principles, really. If you did, there would be at least some comment on the Ryan record, compiled by a Republican org. from his own home state.

Let Karl explain this: http://bit.ly/N7MEtW

The tea party is very loose group of American citizens that want to live life as a citizen in inalienable rites and a fair tax structure that is not corrupt. What you propagate is note what the core establishment real was. Extremists exist every where. But don't allow them to steer your argument, it's unbecoming.

I'm with you Brian. I am tired of being disenfranchised, taxed to death, and watching our great country slowly slide into oblivion. We will be broke in a few short years, and something needs to be done and soon.

TJP, I hear you. We need to take our country back from these two dummies who have allowed an invasion of millions of illegal aliens (all of whom are ciminals). They all must go home, beginning with the Illegal Alien In Chief--Barrak Hussein Insane NObama.

This is filth - I don't care if you like the politics or not the man is the president of this country and you should show him a bit of respect. You embody everything that is wrong with politics in this country - you say nothing of substance, add nothing of value to the discussion rather you spout ignorance that the media pundits tell you to.

You are the definitions of the scariest type or person alive - someone who can articulate a point but has no idea what they are actually saying and an embarrassment to this news forum and the community.

Respect must be earned. Either NObama is extremely stupid or intentionally destroying America. I suspect both.

You are a typical moonbat who doesn't tolerate anyone who doesn't agree with them. A landslide is coming in November.

IEM hasn't had even odds on the GOP taking the white house since almost 12 months ago (http://iemweb.biz.uiowa.edu/graphs/graph_Pres12_WTA.cfm). You stand to make a lot of money if you're right, and you sound quite sure, so why not buy some shares in the Romney/Ryan ticket? Shares are selling for 40¢ each, and you get $1 per share if Romney wins.

(This isn't betting. It's a knowledge market. Awesome idea!)

No, I do more than tolerate I listen and I pay attention. I learn about the different candidates policies and I figure out how they impact me as an individual and my community at large. Both President Obama and Governor Romney are very bright individuals with different political agendas. Both have a vision for this country and ideas of merit.

Rather than calling one guy stupid and the other guy a godsend try explaining what the different positions are, what is different and why you prefer one over the other. One you do that then we can have a discussion.

Who knows, you might even learn something in the process.

Then why on earth do you jump on the man for writing an op Ed that just happens to differ from your agenda.

Tea party...racist, you have to kidding me. You are drinking the koolaid with a straw with PRI streaming thru your headset.

Come up for air bro.

Brian,

To be clear, are you suggesting that our current president is an illegal alien? Please answer carefully, as what you say will affect whether I ever listen to another word you say until the end of time.
