When my friends at Newfangled Studios – an independently owneed boutique video production house - asked me to provide some music for their upcoming documentary, I got pretty excited. After all, Sky High is "...a documentary about a badass skydiving and BASE jumping paraplegic named Jarrett." If an idea like that doesn't get your creative juices flowing, I don't know what will!

My one-man design business, JM Creative, mostly pays the bills with web and mobile design and UX work. I've worked with Newfangled founder (and Somerville resident) Macaela Vandermost on all kinds of video projects over the years, usually in my standard role as creative director. But this was a chance to collaborate in a whole new way, and maybe extend the perceived range of my creative services here in town.

So, I got to work writing this piece, with flying and BASE jumping in mind. I can't wait to see the finished movie!
