It's free to get into these five arts, crafts and food markets in Somerville.

 

Mudflat Pottery Studio Launches Holiday Sale 

Browse and buy work from 75 craftspeople at Mudflat's new workspace Friday, Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The sale will continue through Sunday, Dec. 11 at varying times. Click here for the schedule. 

Union Square Winter Craft Market 

Stop by Precinct and Union Square Plaza Saturday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The indoor and outdoor market will offer handmade jewelry, ornaments and other crafts. 

Somerville Winter Farmers Market

Aside from the abundance of locally grown and produced fruit, vegetables, wine, bread, meat and cheese available for sale, some of the market's vendors have handmade gifts for the holidays. The market, inside the Center for Arts at the Armory, is open Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Artisans of India Holiday Marketplace 

Drop by Third Life Studio Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to see performances by Libana, a world music and dance ensemble, and check out scarves and other crafts from Indian artisans. 

SLAM Local Artist Holiday Market 

The Burren will host the first of three artist markets Saturday, Dec. 3 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be jewelry, pottery, glass, metal, textiles, sculpture, painting, photography, wearable art and other items.
